Barefoot Beach Weddings (BBW) originated with one thing in mind, the perfect location. If you are a beach lover or just love the idea of a beach wedding our venue is your venue. Expansive views from stunning Gnarabup Beach to the renowned Surfers Point, you cannot get much closer to the most famous location in Margaret River. Early afternoon into sunset evenings, here nature is provided at its finest.

Catering for up to 250 guests cocktail style our expansive deck and entertaining area provides uninterrupted views and superb summer sunsets.

A wedding on the foreshore a few steps away from the party. Sounds too easy!

We offer meals for the kids (up to 18 years) so they do not need to be included on the adults menu. Please see the options we have below for just $25 per meal. We also do not charge children (under 18 years) to be on the adults drinks menu, we have soft drinks and juice include for them all night long.

Packages include a selection of three wines + two full strength beer/cider options from your chosen package. Beverage packages also include one sparkling wine, one light beer, sparkling mineral water, soft drinks, tea and coffee. Beverage options are primarily local to showcase to you and your guests the amazing variety and quality in locally produced wine and beer. Beverage packages are for a duration of 5 hours with the option to extend if you wish.

Surfers Point Package

$89 per head

For those who truly love their wine...

Our premium package allows you to choose wines from some of the regions amazing wineries including Walsh & Son's and Swings & Roundabouts.

As part of your premium experience we will arrange for tastings of your preferred wines with each winery. There is also something for the boys, with a round of beer tasting at The Brewhouse.

Selections will include two whites, two reds and a sparkling. Plus, 2 beers from Margaret River Beer Co.

This is a unique opportunity to visit some of the regions premium wineries sampling award winning wines in one of the world's most famous wine regions.

Everything went exactly to plan and was more than I could ever have imagined. You set up the structure and plan for your team to execute the day flawlessly. The styling was perfect. The service was phenomenal!! The staff made sure everyone was more than looked after and no one wanted for anything all night.

White Elephant Beach Cafe was amazing! You can’t get a better view being one of the only venues in WA with absolute beach frontage. The canapes were amazing! We had nothing to worry about before or on the day.

Thanks to Mother Nature, the beach and ocean are a naturally created stunning venue just perfect for a wedding. Together with our partners Dunsborough Event Co, we can style the space to showcase your personality, suit your taste and be practical for your function style.

The venue hire charge is for exclusive use of the venue. It includes fairy lights, set up and pack up, heaters (if required), use of sound system with wireless microphone, and your own BBW dedicated wedding coordinator to provide guidance and assist with your planning requirements.

During our peak season (Nov-April) venue hire is $3,500 and enjoy a discount for the off season (May-Oct) with a venue hire of $2,500.*
We additionally have a minimum spend of $11,000 on peak and $7,000 off peak for food, beverage and venue hire (not including styling).*
*Price for 2023/24 season.

Venue hire must be paired with Dunsborough Event Co's ceremony and reception styling packages starting from $2,020 and with some swift changes, our team will transform the venue from beach side cafe to the wedding setting of your dreams.

Dunsborough Event Co specialise in designing and styling weddings and events with their range of hire furniture and decorative items. From a relaxed beach wedding to an opulent soiree, Dunsborough Event Co can create any atmosphere and experience for your wedding guests.

Ceremony Styling

On a beautiful shelter cove to host your ceremony, a simple and elegant design is created for you and your guests. An ocean backdrop is framed by a simple Arbor with two small rows of wooden chairs and sisal rugs as the aisle. Whitewash daybed and side table, offered for signing.

Ceremony Inclusions

10 x Guest chairs or two benches seating up to 10 guests

Reception Styling

Enjoy drinks and canapes on our private deck at sunset. Designed with comfort and style in mind, we transform the space with intimate lounges spaces and floating bar tables and stools. Dunsborough Event Co offer a customized package, allowing each client to choose their desired look from their range of luxury furniture.
